I smoked a pork shoulder on Monday and got it to about 201 degrees, removed it and shredded it Monday evening. We ate some for dinner and I refrigerated the rest. I want to reuse whats left tonight in the slow cooker with some beans. If I put it in the slow cooker will that reheat it hot enough or should i pop it in the oven to warm it up then put it in the slow cooker? Everything I read said I need to get the pork back to 165 degrees F.
