Happy Sunday all!

My wife bought me a smoker 2 years ago for Christmas. I was working out of town a lot and just generally being lazy, so it sat in the box up until March of this year. I had some home time due to covid and having a baby, so I got into the hobby and really, really enjoyed it. The last two times I set out to smoke, I was having a lot of trouble getting the thing up to temp and determined my heating element was bad. I brooded and figured I could buy a replacement, but I was cleaning out our closet and found that my wife bought the protection plan for the unit from Lowe's when she got it. I put in a claim and got a full refund in a lowes gift card for $180. I have another $85 on a gift card, so i'm trying to limit my options to what lowes has to offer. I had the most basic MES130B, which was electric and analog and not the easiest beast to tame. I'd like to get a pellet smoker/grill combo, so it looks like my best options are the Pit Boss Pro or the Camp Chef SmokePro. Can you guys possibly help steer me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated!

Good choices to be had in Camp Chef and Pit Boss. I can’t advise on either. I was curious though does Lowe’s carry the new Masterbuilt Gravity series?
i'm not entirely sure, but i'm mainly looking online and based on not much experience, the pit boss and camp chefs look to be the best quality. my local stores have totally gotten rid of grills for cheap christmas crap at this point, so it'll have to be an online order!

I have a pit boss austin xl. Love it. No issues with well over 500 smokes on it. My brother has the 850 pro from lowes and he's well pleased
