Quick tri tip question

Just wondering how long it usually takes you guys to get tri tip to 115 at 225? I just put a couple of 1.8 pounders on the smoker and am wonder what time to plan on them being ready to sear.

To many factors to say for sure but I'd check it at 40 mins and every 10 mins or so after that. Best thing is to get a wireless thermometer like the thermo pro off amazon or something similar.
