Now to the smoke. I am doing a couple fatties for bible study and figured i would try a Quiche Lorraine in the smoke box. I cooked some bacon, diced some onions,green peppers,zucchini,and through in some diced green chilies.I also sprinkled some creole seasoning on the stuff sauteing.
Then mixed some half and half with some eggs,pepper,salt,and chipotle powder. Through in some 4 cheese blend and put it all in a "already" pie crust.
It just went in to the smoker about 15 minutes ago. This is the first time doing it so I am figuring a hour and a half. Normal cook time in a oven is 45-55 min at 350. the smoker is set at 250 so we shall see. Thx for lookin.
