Questions about coal.

I bought my chimney starter at Walmart for under $9.00

Well I have been a member for almost a week. I took the 5-day course, put a baffle in my smoker and sealed the doors with high temp silicone, changed from kingsford to "Big Green Egg Lump Charcoal" (The guy at the store said it was a good coal???) and now all I have to do is get a chimney and a few dig. thermometer. I think my stack is already low enough so Im not going to do that mod. I will post some pics when my ol' lady gets home with the camera!
