So I hate to say it but I have had this thing for a few years now. I went to use it about a month ago but the pellets were going out. I attributed that to having the smoker jam packed with pellets. So I've been looking On here and watxhing how people use them. I finally lit the smoker and got good embers on the pellets. Problem I am having now os its just burning and there is no smoke being generated. Any help would be great.

BT, once the pellets are burning good, blow out the flames so the pellets are smoldering then place in the smoker. If  the pellets  do not continue to smoke, put them in the microwave for a minute or two before lighting.

You have to blow the flame out or let it go out by itself before it will smoke.
