Q-view Photobucket Photos Disappear

Periodically I come across a post where pictures have been discontinued. Does this happen if the pictures are deleted from the posters' Photobucket album? If they are deleted from the Photobucket album do they automatically disappear from the Forum threads as well?

Yep learned awhile ago if you want them here then leave them there

You can't move them around in Photobucket either, like to resort them or something. Doing that will cause the link to break too. Of course, if you sort them over there you can put a new link over here to get them to show up again. If it's not your post, you just have to use your imagination!

I also believe after a certain amount of time they inactivate the accounts that are not used..,but as others mentioned if you delete they are gone...

The link given you at photobucket is a direct path to the pic that is stored there... disrupt, delete, or move that pic and the link no longer points to it...

This site ALLOWS you to upload pics as attachments to your post, Those will never go away, but you are limited on size and number per post.

When I come across DEAD links I just report them. The user sometimes will then UPDATE the post to get them working again.
