There are many different cameras used on this forum. i see alot of Kodak Easyshares. Personally I shoot with my Olympus C-740 or my Nikon D50. Most digitals now adays are pretty competitive with each other, the main difference is the person behind the camera. I have shot professional for over 35 years now. People have a tendency to stick the cameras in Auto mode and shoot away. Bad mistake. Learn your camera and it will take great photos for you.
All you need is USB hookups on your new PC, the camera will hook right up to it. Looking for a new camera, don't get caught up in the megapixel myth. A good 4 meg camera is more than enough for the average joe. My main camera for qview is my 3 meg Olympus.
