Hey Raven I'll share some Q pics from my pellet smoker. I got the Yoder YS 640. It's a Tank and it is a cooking machine. I pretty much stick to Cooking Pellets but I've used B&B as well as BBQ Delight. Good results with all of those pellets.
This is my Yoder - it's a working experiment in temp control. Holds over 20# of pellets fully loaded.

This is the brisket that is currently in the smoker. It's on it's 16th hour - low & slow.

This was the best Turkey I've every cooked. Really proud of this bird. It was a hit.

TriTip was a new venture for me but one I'll revisit. The flavor was amazing.

Just added the rotisserie equipment. Got the idea from another member (Thanks Rich)
I cooked a few birds this week just learning the in's & out's of this rotisserie and all I can say is I don't know why I waited so long to try rotisserie cooking? These chickens with nothing more than Weber Bold Chipotle seasoning were as good as any chicken's we've ever had.

I have a Louisiana Grills Competition Pro that I bought from Costco. Well built (imo), holds temperature very steady, and looks cool:

Since this pic I've added a SS front shelf (very useful) and FireBoard themometer.
You can see a pork butt and brisket in the cooker now. But some other tasty treats:

Of course there are dozens of other cooks that I didn't take pictures of. Love the pellet grill life style.

We LOVE our pellet smoker/grill.

texomakid,

thats some great looking food! I also like my pelletsmoker. I also have a propane, electric and a stick burner. Bought the Pellet smoker, since i heard some about them. Will use it mostly during the fall time. I do love the brisket that comes off of it and it did surprise me the first one i did had the smoke ring like a stick burner.

POINTS for sure!

Thanks Raven, HEY OLD SMOKE DUDE! You're right, that is a way cool looking pellet smoker. That alone gets points but I also keep going back to the maple chipotle chicken breast...YUM!........it all looks so good.

Here's a few recent cooks on our new LG900.
Turkey and Ham over xmas to come.
