So for a change I decided to do pulled pork sliders and Mac & Cheese. Started out with a nice 9.3lb pork butt. Put my favorite rub on and into the fridge until ready to smoke.

Saturday night after work I got my tray loaded up with apple pellets and got it burning. Back into the house pulling the butt from the fridge, injected with apple juice and into my MES.

So while its doing its wondrous thing on Sunday smoking. I thought I'd do some baked mac/cheese.
So when the meat hit 185. Mac/cheese into the oven for 50 minutes @ 350. Pulled out when done.

While it cooled some. Pulled the meat from the smoker.

This was pulled out when at 190.
Never foiled. Meat pulled fairly easy. Nice and juicy.
Toasted the buns and topped with smoked provolone cheese. Added a nice slice of the baked mac/cheese to the plate. Two different BBQ sauces to use. One a sweet sause the other a vinegar based sauce. Both homemade. So here is my plate.

The slaw was store bought. I hated it. Worst I ever had. I knew I should have made my own but decided to take a chance. The Mac / Cheese came out good. Good flavor to it. Used sharp cheddar and Colby.
Mustard powder, pinch of nutmeg.
Grey Poupon mustard, half in half, unsalted butter, salt and pepper. Next time I will cut back on the flour and make the sauce more creamier. Hope everyone likes the pics. See ya all in other posts.

Now that looks lights out! I lived off a tailgate grill all weekend training the dogs. Skipped monthly dinner club and everything to train the dogs! Missed out on brisket burgers and a Bloody Mary bar from what I heard today.... it hurts. I sure could have used a plate or 5 full of that! Fine job my friend!

Great looking sliders and mac and cheese! Points for sure!

I did close to the same last weekend except I smoked the mac and cheese and did homemade slaw and beans. Didn't get a plate shot though.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments posted.
SmokinVOLfan. Heck. Thats a nice spread you had going last weekend. Your slaw looks 100 times better than that store bought garbage I had.
