I do love my MES 30" analog, which I bought a few years ago [5? 6?]] to start a tradition of smoked turkey for Thanksgiving.
It serves me very well, have always gotten good meals out of it.
BUT BUT BUT - it is NOT WIDE ENOUGH to lay out a full rack of ribs on it's racks, too short by about 3 inches :emoji_rage:
Kvetching over, thank you, that is all

trim a bone or two off and call it good! Or call it time to invest in a new larger smoker! HAHA

i cut mine in half or you could put a can or something under the middle of ribs and that will pull your ends ends in a couple inches, someone here has pics of that but i cant remember who.

I went from the 30 to the 40 6-7 years ago and never looked back. Big difference inside and out. I can fit most racks of Ribs straight or angled slightly so they lay flat. I remember jamming them into the 30. The 40 also fits larger cuts like Brisket much better. The can under the Ribs is also a great idea.
