Propane vs electric

I have always used propane, looking for a new smoker. Will the electric produce bark like a propane unit? What are the pros and cons in your opinion?

Yes electric will produce bark like the propane but it won't have a smoke ring. Electric is way cheaper to operate and you don't have to worry about running out of gas.
