Thanks Ryan.  Here`s a better shot of the regulator.  Not sure, but my best guess is that its just a built-in needle valve.

Must be, it's very similar to what is on the side of my Weber Q 100. I've been toying with the idea of buying a second Smoky Joe base and converting that second base to propane. I think it would be neat to have a propane mini.
