Hi all new to the forum and seeking some advice. I’m currently in the process of building a vertical unit from a piper products proofer/ warmer cabinet. Inside dimensions are approximately 26x26x60. After some advice from a friend I decided on an brinkman 1500w electric element controlled by a Auber wsd1510gph, and a magnum pig smoke generator from smoke daddy. I’m custom building racks and drip pan all from stainless, what I’m curious about is positioning of the smoke generator, chimney, and fresh air intake. This is my first build and I’ve been researching for quite a while seems to be quite a debate on these items. Any and all pointers/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would opt for the AMNPS smoke generator and use dust made from pellets.... IMO, Smoke Daddy generates too much creosote....
Here are some meats I have smoked with the AMNPS and dust...

Picnic ham....

The pellet dust gives an incredible smoke flavor...
