Thanks maybe sometime I will be able to afford one. Gave my family options this year. Hot dogs or spam. I think the shepherds probably enjoyed a good hot dog. Merry Christmas to you and yours may y’all enjoy the meaning of the season. God bless.

We always do homemade lasagna anyways. Family tradition.
Before my wife passed we used to go to her Aunt's house on Christmas . Her Dad's side was / is full Italian . Homemade ravioli with some of the best red sauce and meatballs I've ever had . Good Italian sausage from down on the Hill in St. Louis . She also made fried cardoon . Man it's all so good . Good bread , salad and canollis and cheese cake for dessert .

Family memories….something that lasts forever. My father side is/was full Italian also. I remember my grandma speaking in Italian when I was young. (Always made me look at her funny.) She made the best food. Never had a written recipe, except my mom lucky enough, talked to her and written down some family recipes that I use today.

We’ll be making homemade red sauce with meatballs tomorrow for the lasagna on Christmas.

I married into an Italian family. Cannolis are a family tradition at Christmas for her, but we haven't back here in 3 years for the holidays.

For my work, I cover a good part of upstate NY on a regular basis. And search out Italian bakeries in every town I visit. Needless to say, I haven't found one that is good enough yet.
