Prepped my spare ribs today for a day of smoking tomorrow.

After trimming the skirt and removing that membrane I did a light rub down with olive oil then liberally coated the ribs with my custom (an adjusted) rub. After getting all 4 slabs rubbed down and wrapped up to help the ribs soak up some rub flavor over night.

Here are some pics (finished product tomorrow)

Deja Vu! I just prepped 4 slabs of St Louis cut for tomorrow also, looks like we used a lot of the same spices. Should be a good day, can't wait to see your ribs all done!

2 tbsp garlic powder
1/3 cup paprika
1.5 tsp chili pwdr
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp taragon
1.5 tsp chipolte chili powder
4 tbsp mrs dash original no salt seasoning
1 tsp fine black pepper
1/2 cup sugar in the raw
2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cumin

2 tbsp mustard powder

1/2 tsp fine/table salt
