Pray for me

Sorry to hear of your storm damage. I've wondered lately how you & your project was coming along. Did not want to see this kind of update.

Woa! that looks horrifying! Sorry to hear this, sending prayers.

Praying that things work out for you. My travel trailer was covered for roof replacement when I accidentally hit a tree branch. Tear was 8' long. I just have plain jane insurance with my automobile policy. $500 deductible for $12,000 roof. One thing my policy stated was that subsequent water damage is not covered. Get a tarp or get it under cover until you can get it repaired.

God is in control!

Thanks for all the support and prayers. I woke up to 42 degrees and 99% humidity. At least it isn't raining. Supposed to be in the mid 60s by 3pm so I wait until it's warm enough for the silicone to bond. Took my dog for a walk and saw 2 other solar arrays smashed. Leaves and sticks as deep as mid calf. I ve never seen anything like this. Spend time in Africa, Asia in several spots, all over Europe and never saw anything like this. The amount of damage..... 2 trees on top of houses, every car with broken glass looking like a golf ball...... Absolutely bonkers

Was way off 35 roof patches. Thinking I am water tite again

Just in case anyone's interested I put down a layer of silicone then a layer of polyester repair fabric (to mimic the fiberglass) and another layer of silicone liquid. It's pretty much the only way to fix these fiberglass roofs. I paid a reputable RV repairer to fix the roof on my old RV and it was underwhelming especially for the price.

It was a long night listening to the dripping, hope I don't have to do that ever again

DAMN IT!!!
That is brutal, I can't even imagine a storm like that being from CA.
I do know that I would always have a roll of this with plenty of poly tape, para cord, and a spray can of 3M super 90 adhesive stored in a closet in the future.

A gallon of Henry's in your closet, it's good stuff.

And you might want to seal up that big crack on your roof that's in the photo, while you're at it.

Good luck bruth'a, sorry you got hit so hard, I hope your insurance covers some of it.

Sorry bud.
Dan.

That is just cruel . . . I think it is going to be a wild ride this yr. Fires, tornados, storms and it just seems like it is way earlier than usual for all these happenings, maybe just my imagination.
