2 butts in my Char Broil electric smoker, 7lbs and 6lbs cooked for 9.5 hours before power went out. Was shooting for 10.5 hours. Should it be done or should I fire up the charcoal bullet smoker to finish?

What temps were you cooking at and IT when the power went out?

Did you measure the meat temp??? I would say it was over 145 degrees, thats the done temp for pork. It might not pull like you want it to.

What did you end up doing?

I did not grab the temp in time to get a accurate reading. I left it in the smoker for an hour after the power went out to take advantage of what heat was left Like you said it did not pull apart as easy as I would have liked. The bone did not pull out easy. Had to chop the pork to get it pulled. Flavor was good just not as tender. Have not cut the second butt yet. Wrapped it in foil waiting for the power to come on then I will cook at 225 for another 2 hours.
