Powder coating

Has anyone powder coated their smoker? Would powder coating withstand the temps on the firebox?

Will let you know soon I'm having my cook chamber powder coated and having cerakote put on the firebox. I'm also adding a 1/8" stainless steel plate to the top of the firebox just in case plus it can be used as a cooking surface.
