It wasn't real busy when I came in but the bartender was friendly.

No potato salad on the menu??? 🤨 I'm not sure how a proclaimed Texas BBQ place doesn't serve potato salad but ok.

I ordered the brisket, fries and a coke.

The coke was flat, no carbonation. I sent it back for a bottled coke.

The brisket arrived promptly but it was barely lukewarm, so I sent it back. The server behind the counter scowled at me. Sorry, when I pay my hard-earned money, I expect hot and fresh. Not something that has been sitting in a warming bin under a light.

The second attempt was much better. Seasonings were good and the brisket was tender, nice smoke ring and pretty good taste and it was hot this time.

The fries were hot and awesome. Loved them.

I don't like leaving reviews less than 5 stars. I love to boast and brag about a place. I had heard nothing but rave reviews about this place from friends saying this is the best BBQ joint in Denver. Unfortunately this one didn't make the cut. Cold food is a pet peeve. Sending it back is even more of a pet peeve. As such I won't be back.
