Thanks CM .Trying the new 1/4" steel in place of water bowl.Seasoned it like CI so I (hopefully)wont have to cover it in foil,just scrape it off now and then.
 
This steel plate setup is gonna be a learning curve but I like it.I'll inspect it in a bit when it cools to see how the seasoning fared.Figured I'd post and pressure myself for it's maiden voyage succeed or failure :cool:
