Just an update for those who might make these beans...had friends over yesterday for a BBQ lunch. They raved about the beans, and most of the comments went to how good the pineapple is. So next time, we will double up on the pineapple in the recipe. It really adds a lot of flavor, and the texture is outstanding! A pleasant surprise.

And here is what you do when you and the wife feel like a change up from ribs..."Pulled Pork Ribs!" Makes a great sandwich. We add all of the drippings back in for flavor and moisture!
