So much for warmer weather and blue skies.....This is me firing up the smoker at 6:30 for a stuffed pork loin for the crews lunch today

Note the wonder of the large Noreaster snow flakes as they dance like pagan sprites before my smoker *insert heavy dose of frickin sarcasm here*

I wonder if I should have posted this in the cold smoking section instead?

I hope the crew appreciates the extra effort to make them lunch!!!  Major kudos!

finished off in foil the last 30 minutes to melt the white cheddar jalepeno cheese into the loin. Stuffed with baby bella shrooms, sweet ancient peppers, red onions, garlic and cheese.

Thanks...came out fork tender. Hardest part was the wind was coming out of the North East today and left the smoker pretty exposed to temp fluctuations, really tough to keep it in a 20 degree range

Thanks for the kind words PG, be a whole lot easier to swallow if y'all weren't in Virginia and not exposed to this same sh*t!!!

Well, go ahead and take it bud!  We had 6 inches of snow yesterday...we were supposed to get mixed precipitation but it started snowing about noon and didn't stop until well after dark!

I don't wish this weather on anyone!  I do have one little advantage over you....my smoker is on a covered porch!

Man oh man...my apologies brother....I went to school at Yorktown for a few months at a time a few times when I was active duty and have family in Richmond. It is a rare bird that this late in the year y'all are facing this same crap. My humble apologies.

Grovelling aside, this sucks!! It's dang near April, where I'm from normally I'd have my lord boards and cut offs on and big boy pants put away a month ago!!

It's all good my friend!  Once you get to know me you'll realize that everything I say is with a light heart!

However, I agree that this sucks!  What happened to global warming for crying out loud!  Big boy pants!  LMAO...
