PORK CHOPS AND SWEET TATERS

We had thunderstorms moving in, and I just made it. I had some pork Chops sat out for supper and wanted a little different flavor.

Mixed up a little Soy and Teriyaki, garlic, ginger and hot sesame oil, let the chops sit it it for a while, when on the grill. Also sliced up a couple of sweet potatoes tossed in olive oil and S&P and on the grill,

The Pork chops had a great flavor, and if you like sweet taters this is super easy and Fantastic. We do them all the time.

Sorry no pics of the prep or grill shot, just a finished pic.

So far the only way I like Sweet Taters is "Sweet Potato Fries", but I'm thinking I'd like this method too.

Hey Gary

Looks like a great meal.  I'm curious about the sweet taters.  How long does it take on the grill and what heat to cook them?  I've cooked lots of taters and onions on the grill, but I always wrap them with butter and seasoning.

Hey thanks guys,    Gary --  Those were cooked at about 350º  it really doesn't matter you can go higher or lower  You can tell when they are done when they start getting soft, It doesn't take very long.

Bear if you like sweet tater fries you will like these basically the same thing. I cooked them on the grill because I was already cooking the pork chops. My wife grew up eating fried sweet taters, her mom sliced them just like that and fried them in an iron skillet.

We don't peal them just scrub them good and slice, lots of vitamins in the peal, and its good !

Hey, for those of you who haven't tried the Sweet Taters, you have to try it easy, easy, easy  and Gooood

We have an Asian Market that I buy a lot of the spicy stuff at, they are about 1/3 of what the grocery store charges,
