Pork Butt Stall? Sliding Temps

Currently cooking two butts for a get together this weekend. One of my (calibrated) thermometers was reading a temp of 190 before quickly falling down to 177. I’ve seen cooks in the past go backward but never this fast or this drastic. Is this stall related? MES electric smoker at 270.
 
I've had the temperature stall on a butt, but never drop like that. Is there a draft hitting it somehow?
 
Thanks. Temp quickly recovered and got back up to 200. You can see the temp variation in the last dip below (blue):

Yeah, an anomaly ... haven’t seen it go backward like that either. Wouldn’t worry about that and see what happens.
 
I have had it go back a few degrees as well...but not that far either. Going with an anomaly as well.
