Is there any market for plum wood?

I have hundreds of plum trees in a pasture I’m going to clear...

I was going to keep some to use for smoking.... but the rest I was just going to push into a ditch or into a pile and burn.

Anyone know people who have an interest in buying plum wood?

I’m in North West Missouri

I love plums and have always wanted to try plum wood for smoking. I have not been able to find it in Southern Calif. Good luck!!

If you go into your account details thru the little sprocket at the top right you can specify where you are at in your details and then everyone can see it by hovering their pointer on your "E" avatar. Hover over my ole dawg to see.

It would be a shame to burn it or push it into a ditch.

Plum wood (or for that matter any fruit wood) is great for smoking. Advertise it locally and I will bet you get rid of every bit! If I lived closer I would swing by for some.

Good Luck and please don't burn it up,

John
