Pipe Thimble Necessary for Hot Smokehouse?

I have been taking a lot of advice from the members here and appreciate all your help! I am nearing the completion of my hot Smoke House, which is a Cedar siding both inside and out, with a layer of aluminum flashing on all inside walls and ceiling, and I am most likely not going to be smoking/cooking hotter than 300° and wondered if I should put Pipe Thimble to house the 6” metal exhaust pipe for fire safety? Once done I will share pics and a video I am creating of the smoke house. Thank you again for all your advice and suggestions, means a lot to me!

Good idea if your pipe is going through a wooden wall. Most have a masonry base or come up through the floor, but if not then yes the thimble is a good idea.

Okay thank you, that was what I needed to hear. Thanks for confirming as my wife does not want me to have a fire hazard.
