PID Controller on a 120 Gal Reverse flow?

Hello.....

Has anyone tried using a PID controller/fan setup on a reverse flow smoker? I use one on my kamado (Akorn) and love it, but not sure how well that will translate to a larger non-insulated, not-as-airtight reverse flow setup.

Thoughts?
