I previously posted that I'm having problems with my new ZGRILL. Still haven't been able to smoke with it. Sending me parts to replace. Also, they recommend smoking at 125-150. All recipes I've seen for smoking are somewhere around 225-250. Can this be right? This would mean I could throw smoking times out the window. I'm new to pellet smoking. I need help with this temp thing.

Can your ZGrill go as low at 125 ?
Haven't heard of a grill that can maintain a temp that low.

125C would put you at 257F so I expect the recommendation was in C not F. Aside from sausages and the like, nobody is running their smokers that low in F.

What temp does wood catch fire?
