I have some peach trees at my house that are in need of trimming this year. Would that wood work in a smoker? The brances are small and would be chipped or chunked up. If it will work, is it best to let the branches dry out, then chip the wood, or chip it, then dry it?

Thanks

Cut it up, it dries faster, yes peach is good I only wish it was available in Wisconsin I pretty much stick to apple and cherry that I can get around here

Yes, peach is good stuff for pork and fish. Nice light sweat smoke.

Make sure you prune when they aren't sappy. Cut to length and split. Let season for at least 3 months, but 6-8 would be better, depending on the size of the cutting.

Peach wood - never tried that before (due to availability) but I'm sure it will be great! Can't wait to see some of your qvue with that new wood. I'm anxious to hear how it tastes!
