just wanted to say hi, new to the smokin, and so far so good. just using a traeger jr until i figure out what i really want to do. My name is Hans and live in pahrump Nv. just outside las vegas. ride quads, dirt bikes, crotch rockets and 4x4. I work at a titanium plant in henderson NV. Smoked two fatties today and ill post the pics!! tasted better than they look, and i thing they look pretty good for first asttempt. one was colby jack pepperoni and pizza sause, the other was yellow, green pepper, jalapeno, and smoked chedder with black angus pastrami....wrapped in bacon!!

Welcome, you'll find lots of helpful information here and maybe too many new ideas (if there can be such a thing), but you'll always have a project list and that's a good thing. Looking forward to your q-view.
 
ya, i never heard of a fatty till about a week ago(at least this kind). im always up for somthing new!! thanks for the picture info. i have more pics but it took me 20 min to get those two on there!! im doing some salmon in a min, ill post it up!!

First off welcome Hans to SMF. Your fatties sure look good to me and you must know what you doing for there not looking like charcoal brickets. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.
