Did you end up trying this with your birds?

Yes. They all turned out perfect. I took the first off any 160. Took the other two off at 163. I liked the ones at 163 a little better.

Do you recall how many lbs your bird was? Just trying to get a ballpark idea if my cook times will be the same. Thanks.

I believe mine was 12 pounds.
