I think You will find them short lived,but some body might chime in with experience on this.

I only wanted to use when we tailgating. I have a big tank at home.

I use refillable 1# propane tanks with our camping stove. Can't say how long but for meal cooking, I'd say 1 tank lasted 5 meals.

I had that set up and if I remember right those little mugs would last 4-5 hours. You could also spend $20 and get the adapter for normal sized propane tanks.
