That's a shame!! Aunt Jemima cornmeal mix cornbread mix was my fave. I suspect it's gone the same way. :emoji_disappointed: Of course Martha White's mix was my second fav so maybe second fave it is.

The original just add water pancake is my favorite. At least got a hold of another box before change. Guess I will looking for a new one. What a shame.

got 3 boxes of mix and three syrup before it disappeared.
guys woke culture and a lot other things going on right now are bull****. but as long as people buy it others will sell it

I consider Aunt Jemima a historical figure, and not in any derogatory way. She was a household figure in our pantry when I was growing up. Never had it occurred to me that there was anything racist about loving Aunt Jemima pancakes or syrup. ( I will say that her syrup didn't hold a candle to the maple syrup my family in Quebec made, but it was quite good when the other wasn't available)

Well as I don't wanna get booted I'll keep most of my feelings to myself! But do have a couple genuine artifacts!

Maybe someday I'll have grandkids and pass them down lol!

Not long ago was having a conversation with my 29 year old daughter and somehow the topic of crackers got brought up...she said " I prefer saltine american !" Needless to say I about peed myself from laughing so hard!

Quaker Oats / PepsiCo missed an opportunity on this one.

They didn't have to erase Aunt Jemima from the label. Instead they should included, as part of the lable, a historical write up of Nancy Green.

This would have celebrated and commemorated a black woman that The African American Registry of the United States calls upon to be remembered.

Noone asked me for input, but i like to belive this could have satisfied both left and right sides of the argument.

Ryan I also bought some to save unopened in the pantry for the grandkids and their kids to see one day.

There's no emojis for my laughter on that one

I'm sure I'm the only shopper who hates shopping. I go into the market, grab the products I recognize and have always bought and get out; unless I'm slowed by my wife who actually reads labels and other odd behavior. When I don't see my old favorites right away I too start looking at alternative products, even read labels if necessary. Now I'm sure that my choosing alternatives because I don't immediately recognize my favorites won't hurt anyone's bottom line, after all I'm the only shopper like that,
