Good day one and all...

I would be John, and I reside a stone's throw from the Big Rock (Stone Mountain) in beautiful Lilburn, GA.  I am a smidge over 50, and my love and adoration for the smoked flesh of many of the tender creatures that inhabit the planet has lead me to want to learn how to make them at home.  With that in mind, there is a fresh in the box Masterbuilt 40 propane smoker parked on the carport, and I am diligently trying to increase the level of knowledge I have in the old noggin.  Any help along this path will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, John!  Glad you've joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastimes...grilling, smoking, and curing great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  

Congrats on that new Masterbuilt!  You can always use the search bar at the top of the page to browse any specific subject in the forums.  For example, type "masterbuilt propane", and you'll get plenty of threads to peruse for tips on your rig.  Just ask any time you need help and you'll get plenty!
