A co-worker turned me on this forum, so I joined while my 2 pork butts are finishing up.

I've been smoking meat for years, I mainly do a lot of different home made deer sausage, but I also do turkeys, ribs, brisket, fish and pulled pork too.  I am an enthusiast, looking to gain consistency and take my beef & pork smoking to the next level.  After reading a few of the threads on this site, I think this forum will be a great new tool in my bag of tricks.

Welcome to the site Craig.  Sounds like you will fit in well around here.

Post up some pictures of your smokes when you get a chance.

From one Craig to another, welcome to SMF.  Not only do you learn new tricks here but you also find times where you are contributing.

Welcome LaCraig, I know you will enjoy this forum. There are so many folks who are always ready to share their knowledge and I'm sure that you have some to offer as well. Everyone here is very friendly and I have enjoyed being able to meet folks and reply to their threads. Good smoking, Joe

I've been smoking for over 40 years, but recently learned (learning) how to cure and make sausage

New tricks for me

Happy smoken.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.  I've been snooping around the site and it contains a lot more information than I 1st realized.  There is even a wild game forum.
