Oklahoma Joe's Highland Smoker -- Pull Handle question

For whoever has this smoker or is familiar with it, does anyone have an issue with the side pull handle coming off when you grab it to roll the smoker to another location?  If so, what did you do to keep from happening?  Thanks!

That a concern for me as well...heavy smoker little handle

Take it out and put it in from the bottom first,that way it stays in while u pull it. That's what I did.
