This is what we break out for shots around the pool in the summer time.
A big bottle of Corralejo at Costco costs about $50.
I have a buddy that will fly to Cabo whenever he needs to refill his stash. He drinks the high dollar stuff, $250 to $500 per bottle......I like the $50 Corralejo more than his expensive stuff.
I drink Corralejo when I'm sipping.

I don’t drink tequilla all the time but one of my favorites is Gran Centenario Anejo which I first had in Mexico and have brought a few bottles home since. Saw it for $39 this week. The repasado is pretty good too.

I drink Corralejo when I'm sipping.
I can't hang with sipping any of them, it's shots for the full effect or nothing for me. LOL!!!
I'm a Michter's Bourbon kinda guy when it comes to sipping whiskey.

Never had a taste for it myself . Years ago I ran with a gal that did. I miss her .
I need to getca good bottle and try again .
Me either, I'll do shots for the effect when partying at the pool.
I can tolerate the Corralejo better than others though.

Not one of our main drinks when drinking, but have known to suck a couple back

Like Cuervo , and Sauza can get here

Couple years back picked up a couple different ones , Not sure of the price because it was a while ago.

But this one I bought as a joke to do shooters . But could not bring myself to open it , yet

Cutwater Tequila Reposado by Cutwater Spirits is the best tequila ever.
Looks like a no go around here.

I was buying the huge blue bottle for a while but hard to find a place for a two foot tall bottle!

Tequila my favorite also. I use that El Jimador Reposado for my Margirita's. Don Julio and Caba Waba are my go to's but always trying something new.

This stuff is off the charts good!

Dang this is good. It is infused with some kind of flower. Not real high proof but so good. Let me know if can't find and I will send you a bottle.

Picked up a bottle of this. Think it might of been mentioned in that video I posted. If not watched that video it is really interesting. Talks a lot about what goes into making. I am really impressed at how good this is. It has a lot of carmel on the nose. For $32 a bottle this is really good. I think I found my new sipping Tequila.

Ok, so. I'm a big Tequila fan. And I have tried many different labels ranging from 10.00 to 125.00 for a 750 ml bottle.
And it is surprising, to me anyway. That often the cheaper brands outshine the $$$ ones.
I'm just curious as to what you prefer and the cost. Oh, I drink tequila straight. So, list your sippers and shooters!
For me. I usual just shoot with fresh lime and course sea salt.
Here are some of the ones I like:
Espolon Reposado 25.00 Actually the blanco is good as well.
Patron Reposado 52.00 Love this stuff. Usually, deadly smooth.
El Jimador Reposado 20.00 Cheap and good.
Don Julio Reposado or blanco 30.00 I've had bottles where it was excellent. Then a bottle that was harsh.
Lunazul Blanco. 20.00 Really like this. A tad harsh. But quickly hits with a nice after flavor of fruit. Hard to find here.
Teremana Reposado 32.00 I have had bad luck trying Star branded booze. But the Rock done a great job with this. A great mix of hit and smooth.

Todays pick!
I know old thread but when i get a chance Ill drink Casa Noble Rep. Or Clase Azul Rep. Discovered both in Mexico about 15 yrs ago and still enjoy them whenever I can as they are more available in the states since about 10 years ago. Also tried Casamigos Rep. and i liked it mucho. So Clase is most exp at 140ish for 750ml then CasaMig around $75 then Casa Noble around $57. I havent been super active in trying new ones but im sure there are plenty at more affordable points. We keep the Clase bottles for decoration..see below.

Not a huge tequila guy but the best I have had was at a tasting we did at the WA in Cabo a couple years back. They had every type of weird thing you could find there lol. Our favorite was something in a hand painted bottle that was pretty dang expensive, i forget the name but I bet my wife would remember it lol. We almost bought some last year, I guess the artist paints some up different every year or something like that.

For home, the corralejo is pretty good and we just got a bottle of the luna blanco. Cabo wabo is pretty good as well, but since sammy is out of that one, I've moved over to the Santo mezcal stuff which is pretty good.

This was really good, enjoyed it with friends last summer

Straight shots... except for our friends wife... they brought her, her very own sippy cup to drink out of!

Maybe someday when I gather all my buddies ( me , myself and I ) and in the mood .
I will show the wife just how big of an A$$ I really am. ( I think she knows though ) :emoji_laughing:

Very few mentions of that Cuervo rot. Even the Mexicans don't drink it but it is carried in all the stores in Mexico because it is all the gringos know
