I was looking for a post just now, so I went to my profile, to click on 'all post by me' and saw my age says: 40.

aaaarrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!

hety lisa 1 good thing- i'm 39 & earlier i had to look up how old i was.... 39 is like 27 or 34- nno milestone.. ya gottas make it a point to remember. i still feel 18- onlya bit slower, stiffer, & (according to my wife) not much smarter......it's just a year..... personally i can't wait to hit 40 to go back pro fishing just to kick the sh*t outta the kids & teach them what work is.... the deadliest catch is me on 3 hrs sleep- no rum & a week @ sea.....

Well were of the same age

AND theres no going back, wish we could at times but no luck there,
icon_biggrin.gif
but ill be 41 on sep 16 and the day will go by as any other day of the year, i had to share the day with an aunt and she got all the happy bday, nobudy new it was my B-day too
PDT_Armataz_01_09.gif
guess they frogot, to me its no different of a day then the rest of the year, comes and goes,.

if it makes ya feel better my b-day is july 23rd- exactly 7 days into shrimping season(which igrew up doing) - like that most dangerous catch thing...i was guaranteed on all my b-days to come in/unload/ & go right back out to cook for the crew & work another 72 hrs w/out sleep.....and being the cook & deck boss- there was no cake involved... so we prayed for hurricanes for a couple "dock days"...

Okay, It's official... You're old enough to know better... still young enough to get away with it.

In 10 more short years you'll be eligible for the silver discount

Well, this Oct. I'll be 62 and I feel like I've had a great life. Been there and done that. Speaking for myself, it's
not the mileage, it's the pit stops..

Lisa honey, for whatever its worth, ya look 23!

Age don't matter a whole lot. Its how you feel inside. Besides, I was told by a very wise man, "do not look to the beauty of the exterior, look to the beauty of the interior"

Lisa 40's no big deal it's what's in your head and your heart that counts!
I'm 53 and still don't feel like a grownup most of the time and I have alot more toys than I did at 30!

Hi Lisa!...

Hey!...Don't sweat it sweetie!...I've found the secret to staying young!...
PDT_Armataz_01_12.gif
...

You see...way back in '84 my 'Railroad Regulator Clock' ran down about a week before my 30th BD, and I didn't wind it!...

And it hasn't ever been wound again!...For over 22 years now!!...

So...time stopped ticking along...therefore...Officially, I'm still 29!!...
icon_rolleyes.gif
...

Wasn't that EASY???...

Strange thing though...The other day I opened the door to go into the next room and the hinges creaked...so I oiled them and tried again...They still creaked and squeaked!...

Come to find out...It wasn't the doors hinges...It was MY hinges!!...
PDT_Armataz_01_05.gif
...

So...I oiled them!...Now everything's fine again!!...

It's freakin' AMAZING what a little WD40 can do!...
PDT_Armataz_01_24.gif

BTW...If you're listening Dutch...My 52 needs to be changed to 29 to reflect my 'true' age!!...OOPS!!...Just kiddin'...

Until later...

I agree with Debi. It's what's inside. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up...and I'm 50. Remember: he who dies with the most toys wins!

Well, Lisa there is a way to fix it. Go back into your profile and just change your date of birth. It won't change anything except your age on paper.

I happen to be 55 and still play like a puppy!

Oh, and BTW, the guy who dies with the most toys is still just dead!

I did get a bit riled a while back when a Price Chopper cashier, who is a dear friend's child, announced very loudly," You know, Steve, you could get your 5% senior discount by shopping on Tuesdays!"

Bottom line is I like me just the way I am and truly have enjoyed life's ups and downs. The downs have made the ups that much more fantastic! Just like a never ending road trip!

Cheers, Everyone!

Age is only a number. It is how you feel that tells how old you really are

Every time I cut my hair or beard & people say you look younger. I'll reply "I better change it back. I don't act my age so at least I better look it
