I've been a little active on here for a couple months, and realized I had not posted a rib cook yet. Yesterday I did three racks of BB ribs and about fifteen brats. I do a standard homemade pork rub for the ribs, with some secret hobo spices included. Brats are in beer and sprinkled with paprika and ground mustard.
Get the stick burner ready, ribs in the horizontal at about 250, and brats in vertical at 150.
(Loving the new fence and the privacy I get from it compared to the old one.)
I used cherry, apple, and oak for the cook.
Standard method on ribs, brats I do for 2hrs, with a flip half way through. They then get finished in the horizontal at 250 (had some corn on the cob going too)
I don't sauce the ribs, just dry rub, and brown sugar/butter during the wrap. I make bbq sauce on the side for those that want some. I mix it up myself. Thanks for looking.
