Does look like there is room for another set of shelves. You could what I do and put the shelves perpendicular to the wall and have two, maybe three. Thanks to these yahoos, just in the last 6 months I've added a mandoline, "ham maker" can and a jerky gun to my diminishing storage spaces, and it's starting to look like a pasta machine is sneaking up on me >sigh<
