Noob in DFW, TX

How's it going everyone?!?!?!? I'm Jerry from DFW, TX and have wanted to get into smoking for a LONG time. I finally bought a Oklahoma Joe Highland. While seasoning the smoker i noticed a crap ton of holes that need to be sealed and i'm working on finding said seals. Other than that, I am post active duty military and now in the reserves so i have more time with my 18 & 6 month old daughters. Super excited to find a forum on smoking. I'm a huge forum whore, LOL. I'm sure y'all will see a ton more of me on here.

Welcome form SC, Jerry. Thanks for your service. I don't know anything about your brand of smoker, but if you just bought it and it's as you say, I'd take it back. If that's not possible, I'm sure someone will be on here shortly who is familiar with your smoker and can help with your problems. Good luck and Good smoking, Joe.
