No ESPN / ABC on YouTube TV?

Not familiar with Roku but hopefully you found the solution for MNF up there in the back 40 . Our main go to for streaming is Fubo, and it provides local channels as well. It's been quite nice actually. Having cut the cable (DirecTV) once they lost the NFL ticket, I was forced into a semi-annual deal with YouTube in order to continue with the NFL ticket. Semi in that I suspend my YT account after the season then pick it back up in the fall. Not fond of how they provide the Ticket because their UI is far from what I would call user oriented. Fubo's UI beats it by allowing the user to configure whatever multichannel view they want.

Seriously, its a real pain when you have a regular program you like to watch and a stupid dispute or an outage messes it up. And you sports/football fans are very serious about it!

Totally! When we lived in the city I put one of those window antennas in a closet and wired it through the house to a couple Tablo's and it was all good and free. Mtn living has its challenges, it not a huge deal justa nnoying they cant find a way to amek it work. Im sure Disney and YouTube/Google are not losing money at any contract rate. lets be serious.

Not a huge sports guy so not the best to say but it has been prediction we will eventually all have to pay NFL to watch ANY game etc. I think eventually everything becomes a la carte sorta. Pretty sure you can subscribe to CBS already. Something like that. Anymore I do searches for this sorta stuff as I said not a huge sports guy. As of late Reddit is my current fave. Honestly tho sucks for you as YES antenna is the real secret and totally free. There are a few boxes you can buy to use with the antenna to make it even better. YES all of this IS a PITA to learn and understand but can be really cool. I am totally in LOVE with cutting the cord. Roku was the right move for us. Wish I did a decade ago. What I have gleaned over the years of all of this is to get a NICE antenna mount on roof or in attic then pair to a Tablo/etc which streams and records. Tablo now has a Roku app.

Don't think to can subscribe to CBS directly, but it is part of the Paramount+ service.
I have cut the cord as well.
ROKU is imbedded in my house, all TV's have ROKU built-in.
Also have the Legacy Tablo 4 tuner recorder.
I got it right before they stopped selling it in favor of the new G4 device.
Glad I did. It will take time before the G4 software is a solid on all platforms.

Making contingency plans now to use a buddy's hulu login.

I was doing this for awhile until Hulu caught on and quit allowing people to share it. My friend canceled them because he couldn't even watch it in his own camper when they went camping. That was several years ago and things may have changed now, though...

Sharing logins makes me nervous. One of our kids wanted one of ours and I said no, took some sh*t for that but I dont feel comfortable using others or giving mine out. I know they have the technology to find out.

Funny how just who ever you get your TV/Internet etc from its all about the same cost. Comcast Internet and YouTube TV run about what you are paying for dish for pretty much the same thing.

This is mainly what keeps me at YouTube TV. They are more lenient on watching in different locations. Hulu is more restrictive from what I gather.

I knew they were threatening to drop it . The one thing I really like to watch on ESPN is Sunday NFL countdown . I mean no more Erin Dolan !! That's not gonna work .

I liked the Manning cast for Monday night . I pay for the 4K plus . It says it affects that , but I guess because you have less 4K content now ?
My Son has a Disney plus account . Wonder if I can get ESPN on there ?

Like said , I bet it doesn't last long ,,, but Disney lost some $$ over the Kimmel thing . Maybe they're try to get some of that back , and YouTube doesn't want to pay it .
