A couple of weeks ago we became the proud, uh, whatever, of a bouncing baby boy! While I have no clue what he weighed in at birth, I do know that he is now a steer (sorry little fella) and will be ready for processing in a couple of years! His momma is a charolais and his daddy is a black angus. Not sure how the two of them ended up with a red though.
Right now, we're still working on his older brother who has been on the grill and in the smoker a few times already this past year!
My wife named him, what, I don't remember. I just call him beef!
