Just wanted to say high as I am new to this Board. I was just given my first Smoker as a gift and was looking for good reference material. I just got a Stainless Masterbuilt 40" Electric. Does anyone have any advise for me before I get started ?

I would suggest you spend some time reading all the different forums and the WIKIs.
