Just wanted to say thnaks to all the warm welcomes!!! I need some help in the building of my new 250 gallon propane tank smoker. I'm building an 18"x18" firebox on the right side of the smoker about 3/4 the way down the tank. I'm not sure how to get the smoke into the pit, if it is better to use a plate on the bottom of the pit, or use a piece of tubing and run it 3/4 the way down the pit. Second what is the best recommendation for putting the water in the pit or the firebox. Thanks for all the help
