Since it has been about 100 years since I last used charcoal for cooking, I'm pretty much a newbie. I bought an Akorn Jr. mainly for the purpose of smoking meat while camping. Love the flavor compared to my Pit Boss smoker. I'm still learning this and have asked for help in a different forum.
