Hello all my name is Brad, and I just found this sight after doing a google search for "building an electric smoker" and I already love this place.I have been brinkman guy for a few years,both electric and charcoal,but I just found a large fully stainless insulated hospital cart from I'm betting the late sixties early seventies Ideal is the brand. It already has two elements one on each end. It is 55" tall 52" wide and 23" deep on large castors.

   Problem is it also has cooling so i dont know what exactly to do with compressor, evap,and so on. I was hoping to scrap all cooling,but keep master switch,and heating controls intact and maybe add a burner from an old electic stove  in the bottom to be my smoke generator. Any Ideas on what I could do for exhaust and intake,themostats,any Ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks, Fulasmoke
