Hello all,

My names Nick and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I'm new to this whole smoking game. I mostly BBQ on a grill but today is my first time using a smoker. I just got this Masterbuilt smoker and I'm trying it for the first time today by putting in a nice piece of brisket in it. My briskets in the past have always had great reviews from the grill. I'm really excited to see how this turns out in the smoker i followed a recipe that called for yellow mustard, cajun seasoning, steak seasoning and brown sugar. Before id just use season all and as i said before everyone loved it. Ill post before and after pics of it after it is done and ready. If anyone has any good recipes and/or suggestions let me know. I'm looking forward to doing ribs and sausage as well..

So my brisket came out great. The wife loved it and my father in law couldn't get enough of it. That's a compliment in its self. I smoked it for about 6 hours and it came out so tender. It had a good flavor to it as well. Ive posted some before and after pics. My next smoking venture are ribs and sausage..Happy smoking all..
