I've been grilling/smoking meats as a hobby for about 2 years. I live in Florida, 80 miles north of Tampa on west coast in a town called Crystal River.
I use a gas and electric smoker. I'm on the verge of breaking down and going to a charcoal smoker. I enjoy experimenting with all types of recipes and rubs, etc. i've attempted but not conquered the following types of meat- chicken, ribs, boston butt, brisket, mullet, mahi-mahi. Specialities- bacon wrapped jalapenos, amardillo eggs.
